I purchased this product to use alongside some clear nail tips I had bought, as I’m just starting to do my own nails at home. Recently, I invested in the Jodsone gel nail kit and have been experimenting with it a few times, but wanted to try applying it with nail tips. I was intrigued by the idea of using “solid” nail glue because it allows flexibility when positioning the tip, and I don’t have to hold it in place as it cures. There was a bit of a learning curve in determining the right amount of glue to use, and I’m still working on perfecting it since I’ve only done one full set so far. I applied the glue by scraping a bit with the nail tip and placing it on my natural nails, though I wonder if using a brush would help or complicate the process. I did notice some air bubbles, and I’m not sure how that will impact the longevity of the nails.To my surprise, my left hand nails are still perfectly intact 15 days after application (photo included). On my right hand, one nail fell off after 14 days, and two others were painfully ripped off — one due to my puppy and the other from my own clumsiness. I’m generally rough on my nails, so I’ve been very impressed by how well these held up compared to regular glue-on nails. After two weeks, I can see my nails growing out, so it’s time to remove them, but I’m really pleased with the durability and overall results.
